BEHIND THE DESIGN — Months of Testing for One Perfect Fit
At Kodangs, we believe that “simple” doesn’t mean easy.
The Basic Tee may look effortless, but behind its clean shape lies months of testing and refinement. We spent a long time experimenting with different cotton blends, weights, and finishes — ironing, washing, and wearing them repeatedly to see which one could balance comfort with durability.
We wanted a tee that feels like your favorite cotton, yet won’t wrinkle easily — something light enough for everyday wear, but structured enough to hold its shape.
After months of sampling and real-life trials, we found the right composition: 68% cotton for softness, 25% polyester for wrinkle resistance, and 7% spandex for subtle stretch and recovery.
The oversized silhouette was also fine-tuned over time — roomy and relaxed, but never shapeless.
Every pocket, stitch, and neckline curve was tested to make sure it feels balanced on every body type.
